Gift Vouchers A Gift Voucher buys a hands-on instructional flight in a two-seater glider with dual controls. Aerotow launch trial flight behind a light aircraft to over 2000′ for a flight lasting about 20 minutes. Where the club is unable to carry out aerotow launches on any particular date then the voucher holder will be offered the alternative of winch launch (in this case a 2nd flight will be offered where the 1st flight is less than 10 minutes duration)The flight will last anything up to about 30 minutes depending on weather conditions on the day. You will receive an information pack (the Club, gliding, how to find us etc.) with the Voucher and a link to book your flight in the diary. We will collect the pilot’s name and a few other details when you book the time and date. Please check your spam folder if you don’t see this within 48 hours.

Aerotow £130

We fly visitors every weekend from April to September unless it is wet or too windy. You can book either a morning (11am) or afternoon (2pm) briefing. There are up to two guest pilots for each briefing and the flights will take place one after the other.

Our diary is now open for booking for the 2025 season which starts on the 5th April

If you already have a voucher and want to get booked in, just email us at office@staffordshiregliding.co.uk and we’ll send you a link to our booking diary. If you have already booked and need to change the date, just rebook in the diary and we’ll cancel the old booking for you. Your booking is for a briefing time, either 11am or 2pm with two visitors per briefing, so please arrive promptly for the chosen time.

Gliders are limited in the height and weight of people they can carry, no more than 1.95m (6ft 5in) and 102kg (16 stones).
The Club reserve the right not to fly anyone outside these limits.

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Vouchers are non-refundable

If the voucher is for a birthday or special occasion please let us know the date and we will issue the voucher from that date.
